So now that HC110 comes in the crappy Tetenal style bottles- I wonder how the shelf life is affected
Man those bottles are horrible (or at least the caps are- my stop bath bottle leaks all the time)

Actually rubber stoppers work just as well as bottle caps. Get one that fits a bottle with a bad cap.

Unless someone is trying to age their HC-110 for many years like a wine I'm not sure what the point or worry is. I've used stuff 3-4+ years old with no problem. I use stuff younger than that but in bottles I've opened and closed almost every week for months and the chemical has turned dark red-orange and its fine. Heck it would probably be fine kept in a cheap plastic open-air bubbling desktop water sculptures and you decant off the fake little stone as you need it...
