ExifTool for Android - View, edit Photo & Video metadata

Hello all,

With my passion for photography, I have made an app called ExifTool for Android to view, edit the metadata of photo & video in my phone.

This name is very familar with some one caused I ported this tool from here, thank you Phil Harvey.
I would like to share to some one who want the tool for view, edit and note some data into the photo or video. This app is just beginning, so I want to get more feedbacks.

What my app can do:
DarkMode theme supported.
Extract Depth Map information.
Powerful, fast, flexible and customizable.
Other than ExifInterface based on Google Developer, this application is supported by many types of files, e.g photo (jpg, jpeg, heic, heif, webp,...), video (mp4, avi, wkv, heif, ...), audio (mp3, mp4, ogg, flac, ...), photoshop project file (psd), raw photo (raw...) or some executing files (.exe, .msi, ...).
Read/View EXIF, GPS, IPTC, XMP, JFIF, MakerNotes, GeoTIFF, ICC Profile, Photoshop IRB, FlashPix, AFCP, ID3 and more...
Modify/Edit EXIF, GPS, IPTC, XMP, JFIF, MakerNotes, GeoTIFF, ICC Profile, Photoshop IRB, AFCP and more...
Change currently metadata tags.
Add GeoTag into Photos, Videos.
Date Photo Editor: change Created Date, Modified Date easy by using Date Time Picker.
Change the GPS, location attached to the photo with a little bit of interaction.
Wiping/Remove all metadata (EXIF, XMP ...) of the photo, video ...
Export Exif Data into CSV file.
And more, more features but keep in mind we always keep its FREE to end-user.
Extracts thumbnail images, preview images, and large JPEG images from RAW files
Add/Edit/Delete metadata on multiple files.
Copy from a photo/video to the others.

I call these EXIF editors "evidence tampering tools". Never understood the reason behind altering most of the data. Nefarious? Perhaps. Not showing EXIF at all in a file, that I can see as logical.

Yes, almost correct.
Some one is using the Exif Editor to make a fake data for their purpose. But, it is just a negative purpose.

I would like to share some cases that's needed for change the Exif data.
- You can create the Author, Description of an photo that will show to the other.
- You can modify the date taken of this photo cause some mobile phone devices is depend on this information to display this photo on their Gallery app.
- You can modify the GPS Coordinator of an photo/video that can correct some info that is wiped by some the other apps..
- View the metadata info that photo is taken to learn how they can capture this photo: Lens, Explosure, Model, Flash ... to improve the parameter set on your camera.
...

And so many cases that Exif Editor can help us, and for my tool, this is more feature that Exif Editor can do.

By the way, up on your negative purpose, we can have so many positive purpose that some one can think about.

You can even add claims of copyright!
You can also add subject tags that make it easier to catalog and cross reference.
Just think how useful to a portrait photographer it might be to be able to add the name of a subject.
Or how useful it might be for a police photographer to add the file number.

You can also use kinemaster without watermark at Techbigs to edit Photo & Video metadata easily.
