The inscription is very hard to read. A flashlight helps to see the text. It has a bit of separation in the rear group but little or no effect on images. If you're wondering about an affordable 5X7 Brass Portrait lens this one would serve you with an excellent signature. Not soft focus, but old school modeling. $165. OBO
