I downloaded Kevin Bjorke's ChartThrob 1.08 from his blog (the only version available) installed it but can't try it out, get an error as follows:

Error 8:Syntax error.
Line:38
-> #target photoshop

More specs about me - am running pre-installed Windows Vista Basic edition 32bit, Adobe Photoshop CS2 Version 9.0, have 3GB of RAM and enough space on my harddrive partitions.

Anyone got the same error and found a solution on how to get it running? Or is there any source (yet to find one) of a previous version for download?

I just installed on CS3 and worked fine. I looked at the jsx file and it's the running the same value at line 38 without incident here- are you sure you installed it in the adobe/cs*/presets/scripts directory? The first time I installed it on CS2 a few years ago I think I put it in the scripting folder by mistake.

Hi Colin,

thanks for your input - I looked at several Javascript books with not much success but ended up just turning the line a "comment" by adding // - and the script now does start, time to evaluate :smile:

My vague recollection is that CT would not work on CS2, but I could be wrong that might be CS.

CT works with CS2, that's how I run it here, but that may have changed with the latest update.

Yeah, i've been getting the same problem too.
I'm running Photoshop CS2 on a Mac running OS10.4.

Any breakthroughs?

I've been getting this too (Windows XP, Photoshop CS2) but have just managed to sort it out.

Go to the location of Chartthrob C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS2\Presets\Scripts\ChartThrob.jsx
Right click on ChartThrob.jsx, then left click on Edit. This brings up a page of text and on line 38 you will see #targetphotoshop
Erase that text, so that line 38 is empty. Save, then close. ChartThrob should now open properly from the Scrips menu in Photoshop.

Well, it worked for me...!
