Hey everyone, i was wondering if you could help me figure out what this piece is. I'm an amateur photographer and I'm still trying to expand my knowledge but I can't figure out what this piece is. Is it worth anything? or do i have a nice paper weight lol.

Visoflex

You will need shortmount lenses in the Visoflex. If you have a Leica or plan to buy one hang on to it.

So dang heavy....
.... friend had a Leica dealership and fair amount of stuff.
... an M3 with Viso and 135 lens felt like a F100 with 300 2.8

it seems to be a nearly complete Visoflex I set with LTM screwmount M 39 x 1/26"

The Visoflex was great when there were few 35mm SLR cameras available. Now it is probably more interesting to collectors than users. They may make it worth selling. There have been several variations over many years. Check the prices of outfits similar to yours that actually sold on ebay. I have one, but never use it in favor of the convenience of a SLR.
