Hi everybody! I'm new here, greetings from Venice.

Welcome aboard!
I can't really answer your question; I *think* that a somewhat similar issue popped up recently, which turned out to be a hardware defect in the scanner and Epson replaced it under warranty...if my memory serves. I can't find that thread right now, though.

On a different note; you mention you're from Venice - perhaps you could help the person with this question: https://www.photrio.com/forum/threads/35mm-film-processing-near-venice-italy.206792 I tried to assist using Google, but since you're actually in Venice, your advice would be more useful!

I replied! happy to be useful.

Do you suggest to write to Epson (or photospecialist.it, where I bought it)? Or there is any way to solve it manually?

If the scanner is still within its warranty period (2 years I assume, given European purchase), I'd definitely get in touch with Epson, yes. They might refer you back to the retailer, but I'd start with Epson since they're most likely to be able to tell whether it's a hardware defect.

Update!
I got in touch with Epson, fortunally the scanner was still in warranty period. I sent it to the nearest epson service, and they subsituted the TPU and the optical unit.
I made two quick scansions 4x5 and seems to be all right now.
Hope will be useful to someone!
