I had the V350. I got it to see if I wanted to scan negs, for keeps. It was just good enough to wet my appetite and I went on to a dedicated film scanner.

It's not bad, but the real dpi is low and the film holders are small. If you are an infrequent film scanner it is fine. If you are scanning prints, it has more than enough resolution.

I would recommend that you look at vuescan to get the most out of it.

All reviews online are mostly by PC users!!

Up untill now I've been using an old Epson 1200

Downloaded Vuescan
Will try it out when it gets here.
