I have an EOS 1000 with a EF 35-70 A lens.
Cameras autofocus system torture me. Sometimes it focuses to a crescent moon but many times I have have to change the composition because it did not succeed to focus a area. I think it wants clear lines and central focus area wants to be faraway from light differences.
How can I focus to a point , lock the autofocus , change the composition and take the picture ?
