I've just put my hands on eos10 and tried to load it with unperforated DK5 microfilm. But camera does not advance the film. Is eos10 so different from 10s/10qd, widely recommended for that kind of stuff? Or should I blame myself for poorly self-loaded cassettes?
Perforated films (in self-loaded cassettes) run without problems.

I've not tried it but some cameras that will run unperfed film still need a few perforations on the leader.

Canon 10 = 10S = 10QD if I'm not mistaken and I (again, not really sure) remember punching a single hole at the beginning of the roll when I used unperforated film with Canon 10S so that I could hook the film to the take-up spool's tooth.

Oh yes, I've heard about it - thank you for this reminder. Perforated leader should do the trick.

I punched a single hole right to the films edge - and it worked. But next roll I will tape a perforated leader. Thanks again.
