Electrical diagram for Durst UT100 dryer

Hello, I have an electrical problem with a Durst dryer. The fan does not work anymore.
Would you have an electrical diagram to send me so that I can try a repair.

Is a diagram necessary? Without knowing this device, I assume it is designed as a room heater: a AC motor (universal motor), switched by the on-off switch, and two resistors in parallel behind that switch for the heating. Maybe even a temperature controlled circuit breaker for the safety.

So when you got no idea on the possible fault so far, a diagram would not help either.

If nothing works, suspect the power supply to the switches. If the elements heat up and the fan doesn't turn, the fan may be seized.

As AgX says, it's a relatively simple design so it may be safer to leave it to an expert to fix if you are unsure?

Simplistic in concept, I can imagine without a lot of guesswork that such a product has

1. a power switch
2. a thermostat
3. a motor
4. a resistive heat element

There isn't much circuitry to figure out, apart from the wiring that connects which thing to which next thing, and use of proper electrical safety along with a multimeter to troubleshoot which item is no longer operational. For example, if Voltage is getting to the fan , but it still does not spin, you know it is the fan that needs replacement...then all you need is get a fan of the proper Voltage rating. If there are safety interlocks, these would need to be bypassed in order to check items 1 thru 4

The fan is seized. By insisting a little with some degreasing agent, I was able to restart it.

Glad it is working now. You are free to accept or reject this piece of advice but I have found that with my Durst UT 100 there is no need to use the heater switch to dry film even here in the U.K. I find it takes only about 20-30 mins with the fan only and there is no danger of over heating the film if you had to leave the UT 100 running for longer than was necessary .

I mention this because should the heater circuit fail then it is not the end of the world It does a great job with the fan only
