Bravo darkroommike - that is the first substantive objection concerning a conclusion. If Kodak will give up within some month all what they are planning isn't any more a category "remains to be seen" then it is a little bit more than this :"Game over nothing is to be seen next".B&H is "famous" for directing you to pages with "product no longer available", I wouldn't mind if their archive pages would retain specs and prices for historical reference but all you get is a "stub" listing. As to 120 Ektachrome, different base thickness, different coating line, and Kodak's recent difficulties with backing paper put this in the "remains to be seen" category.
I don’t really think we need to prove our manhood, if we are male, by using or divulging our real names. My name is quite common too. But I use mine. It’s the only name I know... except a-hole and a few others that I seem to instinctively respond to. I was tempted to change my name because twice I met others with the same name: one was a real a-hole (we actually worked together for a short time) and the other had financial and love-life problems... as evidenced by the number of debt collectors who called me because of his crappy credit... but the worst situation was when his girlfriend called my answering machine to inform him that she aborted their fetal-child. AND MY WIFE HEARD THE MESSAGE FIRST.I'm not sure why you are trying to pick a fight, my name is not quite John Smith common but it is pretty common, when I Google my name I come up with quite a few hits, there are seven in my home town alone, including a convicted felon and a minor league baseball player, but there is only one "darkroommike" a handle I have used since Hotmail was a thing. You forget to state aboud the blonde secretary as she called your mobile mailbox because she was impressed from wonderfull holidays with you. The 2 weeks your wife thought you was on a business trip.....It was you Brian......I don’t really think we need to prove our manhood, if we are male, by using or divulging our real names. I'm not. In post #31 the OP, who knows everything about everything, made fun of another poster's screen name. I found it ironic that someone who blathers incessantly hiding behind their own absurd, anonymous screen name would mock another's 'handle.'I'm not sure why you are trying to pick a fight...

By the way, there's no PHOTRIO member registered as "Mike King," so if you'd like to change how you post here, a request to Sean should do the trick.

Sure it will need exact that you mentioned. But a little different base and a perhaps reformulation of the emulsion in regards of different basis for sheed Film isn't that Problem. The main job is done with Ektachrome still now. What is needed to make ektachrome in 120 besides cutting the roll? Does it require a different base or reformulation?
Your [Trendland] topics are writting in such a gibberish that it only confuses people.
I find this remark not fair.
Obviously you yourself are not a native speaker either, and you even made a mistake in that statement yourself.
Yes, some sentences by Trendland I have to read twice. And a few remain not understandable, but that pales in comparison to the amount he writes.
Apug is an international forum and such difficulties are just part of it.
In number I have more difficulties reading posts of native English speakers. Often I cannot even understand the title. Reason mostly is that they employ slang, which I sometimes even cannot deduce by using specialized dictionaries, but sometimes their English is just poor, as far as I can say.
Aha I see : "chatter" is casual conversationYou guys might want to focus your chatter (casual conversation) on photography. Your bias and bigotry is starting to show. Oh my (a colloquialism expressing shock and/or dismay... but sometimes used to express boredom and/or frustration.) Bye.
Today's pricing is between USD 40,- - USD 50,- so each single mount is around 5bucks!
Like this here :One still can make ones own mounts the traditional way, between glass panes.
