I will be trying out some 120 rolls of Efke R100 film and would be grateful for any developing info/times you can provide. I normally use Rodinal and Tmax developers, so if you have info on these developers with R100 film , I'd love to hear it. I have checked Retro & JandC developing charts but would still like to hear from others for their peference.

Regards,
Peter

Important things to do to protect the soft emulsion on Efke films: when loading, take special care to avoid film kinks that can leave pressure marks; the film is very curly. Develop at no higher temperature than 20C/68F, and use a water stop (3-4 changes of water, preferably distilled, and must be same temperature) rather than acid stop bath. Beyond that, handle the film with great care while it's wet to avoid scratching and embedding dust, and hang it with a weight on the bottom to help control curl when drying (it'll still curl, just no as badly this way). Some suggest a hardening fixer, but the above precautions may make it unnecessary.

EFKE 100 is a very good film, I use Rodinal and DDX for it, with very good results.

Look in other threads for more reccomendation, run a search for efke in title:
