Hi - I've been trying to find development times for Adox/Efke CHS50 film using Ilford chemistry. Does anyone know where I can find these? Many thanks in advance. Sean

Try the Fotoimpex site. Also remember the film was once called Adox KB17/R17 (miniature or roll film 17 DIN).

Also Digital Truths website, the Massive Film/Development chart.

Thanks for the quick replies. Do you have any information on using Ilford Ilfosol or Ilfotec with Ekfe/Adox CHS50?

One of my favorite films. Developes beautifully in pyro developers also. I shoot it in ULF formats.

Still haven't been able to find Ilfotec development times for Adox/Efke film on the Internet, so I was thinking:

Adox 50 in ID11 = 7 mins and
Delta 100 in ID11 = 7 mins
therefore Adox 50/Delta 100= roughly same development time,
so use Delta 100 in Ilfotec development times as a starting point.

Any suggestions?

Sean, you've got the basic idea, that's what you have to do when a film or developer isn't listed and its generally close enough for a good starting point.

Keep a record of your film / developer times with comments on the results for future reference.

Ian

I just used this film for the first time and developed the ISO 50 in Ilfosol S using the same time as Ilford Delta 100 and got good results...
