So I developed some Efke 25 sheet film in HC-110 Dilution B today. Digital Truth said 7 mins for that, but I should have looked closer. They had the same time for Dilution B and Dilution H. As a result my negs were extremely over developed, almost to the point of being black. I can still see the image, but its going to take a hell of a scan and Photoshop to try and recover it all. I read someone did their Efke 25 for 4 mins in dilution B. That sounds more correct. I basically overdeveloped my negs by almost double the time.
What times have people seen for this film in HC-110? I will be using more of it, and its more economical to use HC-110 then my Xtol batch, for doing 1L of 4x5 sheets all the time. I won't be using HC-110 for much else anyway.
Purpose of the shoot was to compare Xtol and HC-110 negs to each other. I wanted to see if fog was more reduced on the HC-110 negs. My test today was inconclusive and I don't see any difference in the non image portion of the negs.
