I'm Jen, from Yorkshire (best county in t'land
) and a 2nd year photography student at UCLAN in Preston.
As you can tell from my name my tool of choice is a Mamiya, the RB67 to be precise. I bought it last October and it is easily the best purchase I have ever made. I am actually in love with it
I've always loved photography but only got into it seriously a few years ago when I went to college and then onto uni. Though I did find my passion being slowly destroyed by my 2nd year and too much digital work I'm fighting back and have just finished setting up my first darkroom at home. I honestly can't explain how shooting analogue makes me feel, it might be daft to some but I am completely and hopelessly in love with the whole thing.
Which is why I'm glad i came across this site! I'm sick of being overwhelmed by digital users who are far too quick to dismiss film so it's great to be surrounded by like minded individuals who are obviously very friendly and quick to offer sound advice.
Ok, rant over
