Just wondering, once we developed , didnt know we can redevelop to get the output . I thought once we finish the fixer process everything done. Cannot repair or fix it ..
It's not really redevelop. Once C41 developing in the developer, bleach and fix is done, it's done. We can't change the developing part. However if the film had a problem in the bleach, like your film (retained silver), by rebleaching and fixing you are in effect giving the film longer time in both chemicals and it will usually correct the fault.
You can't really over bleach your C41 film as the bleach process is to completion. So an extra minute or two in bleach & fix won't harm the film. The 1 minute in bleach is really for C41 lab processing machines, if doing at home I would suggest longer, 2-3 minutes.
