My Eastman 2D 5x7 came with a little spring steel pusher or support that is fastened to the rear of the front standard. It projects up into the camera, and gently pushes up against the inside of the top of the bellows. It is several inches wide, so it has a large area of contact with the bellows. It meets the bellows about three folds in back of the front standard. It has never been a problem, but it does create an annoying flat spot where it prevents the bellows from folding naturally.
Does anyone else with a 2D have this little fellow "supporting" the bellows? If not, I would be inclined to remove it, but I am hesitant to tear down fences when I do not know why they were put up in the first place.
