I just discovered that for long time exposures, one of those plastic/rubber artificial wine corks fits (and holds fast) perfectly in the shutter button recess of the hawkeye, keeping it pressed down as long as you like. So keep a cheap Savignon Blanc (or whatever you like) in your camera bag for those long night exposures!

It might even work better if you pull UP on the other grey "knob"...
It's "B" for long exposures.
