Hi guys, I'm about to start shooting E-6 in 120.

Problem being that no local lab (I life in nowhere Canada) uses colour reversal paper to print. I'd have to get it scanned, at up to ten bucks a slide, then proofed digitally.

I read somewhere about a good e-6 lab somewhere in california, checked out their prices and they were very good.

The only thing I remember about them was that they did E-6 exclusively and nothing else, and did sheet film in huge sizes.

I'd like to find them again, because if I have to ship to the states anyway, it really doesn't matter how far.

Anybody?

The only colour reversal paper left is Ilfochrome.

Elevator (an APUG sponsor and partner) in Toronto does Ilfochrome, IIRC.

Bob Carnie from Elevator posts here regularly.

You can do E-6/P30 yourself pretty easy with basic equipment. If you still want to send it out look into the A&I mailers from some place like B&H

These two seem to have many, many fans for E6 processing. I use A&I in Los Angeles, but I have the luxury to drive there in a few minutes from work. A&I does superb slide processing & scanning. But I am trying Denver Digital soon. Good luck.

Hi,

Try Praus Productions in Rochester, NY! I advertise on APUG and offer a 10% discount to members. We are a Q-Lab and work with Kodak solving technical issues with them for their customer base. Our customers are international.

I would have to second that. Praus is recognized as one of the finest E6 labs in the US.

I have had it recommended to me by every major photo store in Rochester for starters.

I have to add that almost all of my film goes there but Mr. Praus doesn't know it. And, I must say that the quality is outstanding.
