I've just upgraded to a Kinetronics StaticVac ionizing dust film cleaner. My slides are absolutely dust free after running them through the StaticVac, but now I want to completely remove the dust from the scan holder glass. I have the Nikon FH-869 G holder with AN glass on top, where dust is of no problem at all. However, the plain glass at the bottom is driving my mad. Whatever I do fails: just after inserting the holder and doing a preview I can make the dust particles visible (with VueScan).

Do you have any tricks on how to get the lower glass really clean and keep it clean?

Thanks in advance!
