I was recently given some darkroom equipment which included a DURST UT100 Dryer. Some of the spade lugs on the wires to the switch array had corroded and fallen off the switch. Aside form a little rust, the dryer looks to be in good condition, as does the drying bag. I would like to replace the spade lugs and connect them to the switch to get the UT100 working again. I can't find a manual online, so I don't know how the switches are supposed to operate. For example, there is one main on/off switch. Does that just turn on the heating element without the fan? How is the unit supposed to operate when Switch I and Switch II are set to the ON position? If anyone has a wiring diagram of the UT100, or can take a photo of the wires connected to the switch array, I would be very much appreciative!

Thanks!
~Dom

It is surprising that not immersed parts have fallen off due to corrosion but the rest of the device is still intact.

The main switch just turns on the fan. The other two switches switch the heater in two steps.

Yes, there is some rust in other areas as well, but considering what the spade lugs look like I too am surprised the unit is is not in worse shape. I'm not sure the unit was ever immersed in water, but it could have been stored somewhere damp. I know it lived part of its life in a darkroom shed in the Pacific Northwest somewhere.

OK, thanks. I have something to start with here. I take it the fan is always on high and the heater comes on in three steps, including no heat, like this:

Main Switch: Fan only, No Heat
Main Switch and Switch I: Fan and Low Heat
Main Switch and Switches I and II: Fan and High Heat

Yes, you got it right. I tried to take a picture of the cables through the mesh, it was not very useful...

Yes that is correct. Also the fan has only one speed
