-Hello to all friends.
-I just bout this color paper processor from a friend ho give me free, after many years with jobo cpp 2.
-I have some questions, this machine already have modified to take normal RA4 chemicals, but i don't understand that the second bath need to be a stop bath!
In jobo never i use stop bath, after the paper developer i fill the tank twice just with tap water and then put the bleach. So what stop bath shall i need to put? The same i use in black & white chemistry? and in what solution?
-Please someone help me. The friend ho give me they don't remember..

-Well today i print color with this durst paper processor with great success!!
-The machine take 2 liters of developer and 2 liters of bleach, and i put about 1 liter of stop bath between them from B&w chemistry as the durst say. i use kodak RA4 SP lorr chemicals and KODAK ENDURA F paper. The results its amazing with deep rich black and rich color and good detail in high lights.
-I print 18 prints 20x30 cm in 2 hours with only 3-4 test as my films have all the same density and color balance. I am very happy for come back again after about five years when i stop to hand made color print.

I always got great results from my Durst rcp 20 color paper processor when making large quantities of prints vs my Jobo, however, mine still has the old gearing for the older color process. I hope to up date the gear ratio some day to use with the new process. Glad to hear it works so well. Congrats.

-Thank you very much fotch. I have some questions, do you use starter in the bleach working solution or just replenisher, i don't remember from the past but the shop ho sale me the chemicals claims they don't need.
-Also i put kodak stop bath between developer and bleach from b&w chemistry, diluted as the bottles say, is it ok?
-When i finish to print i empty the chemicals in bottles an i feel the tank with water. Thank you again.

I don't know about the new chemistry, I have yet to use it. I do know that total cleaning or rinsing the processor after using. I would save the chemicals but only for a short period because then never last long once diluted, may be different now. I really liked it.

Hey there, I just got my rcp 20 working - All running smoothly except I keep get scratches on my prints. I’m inserting them face down, and I’ve cleaned the rollers several times (with toilet bowl cleaner as recommended) and they’re still getting scratched. Always in the same spot. Anyone have any thoughts/ideas to fix?

The paper should be inserted emulsion side up, not down.

Make sure the stainless steel guides are in the right positions to ensure the paper travels through without catching.
