I am interested in hearing, VIA PM or EMAIL ONLY, from people who have experienced serious problems doing business with Durst-Pro-USA. PLEASE DO NOT POST ANYTHING HERE. I am not looking to start an online debate about the merits or faults of this company, which also uses/used the name World Images, Jensen Optical or Poli-Pro-USA. All correspondence will be treated confidentially. Thanks.
 
I'm getting a little tired of clicking on this topic, only to find the word "bump." If you have something to say here about Durst, then say it, but "bump" is an insulting excuse for discourse.
 
You know, I agree...post here...I have dealt with Jens on several occasions and have found him to be a great source of information and advice about Durst products. Such advice was willingly given at NO charge. I did have to have my power source replaced. Although the process took a week or two longer than expected, Jens advised me of the delay ( illness in his family ), and did some additional work at no charge as a friendly gesture. I know he sometimes takes time to return phone calls, and emails. Who doesn't?

Well it looks like 1 out of 3 posters think Jens is a good guy to do business with and the other 2 are a bit annoyed. If anyone has anything to add, that would be great. 'Bumping' the thread w/o there being any explanation leaves a bad impression one that doesn't appear to be warranted and therefore should probably stop.

Public forums are probably not the best place to solicit private communications. If you ask people not to post they won't and therefore the thread will die. If you bump the thread w/o comment it taints the message.
 
Chazzy, sorry for your disappointment in finding nothing of interest in this thread. It serves a more important purpose for APUG members as a whole which I am not at liberty to discuss. In the future you might simply choose to not click on it.

Greg, I am unable to answer your question. If you have information relating to the topic I would be very interested in hearing about it but only in an email or PM.

Mahler, I am glad to hear that you have had a good experience with Jens. But as I wrote in the first post, this thread was not to be about publicly discussing the virtues or sins of any one or any company.
 
I sent Early Riser a pm describing a positive experience with Jens, the details of which aren't important. Since I don't know how this information will be used or the motive for the question, I'm sorry now that I replied at all.
 
In the first comment on this thread I state very clearly that I am interested in hearing from people who have had serious problems doing business with Durst-Pro-USA.

In the second lines and in CAPS I clearly state,"PLEASE DO NOT POST ANYTHING HERE."

Both of those mean that if you have NOT had serious problems doing business with Durst-Pro-USA then there is absolutely no need for any reply from you. And if you have had problems, to contact me privately.

There are fellow APUGers who have replied to me in this matter who view this thread as very beneficial and important.

Johnny, as I stated in my reply to your PM, I was happy that you had a positive experience with Jens. There is no cause for you to feel good or bad about having replied.

To all; PLEASE, DO NOT POST ANY MORE COMMENTS HERE. THANK YOU.
