Hello Everyone. I'm getting back into the darkroom after a very long hiatus. To that end I bought a Omega Pro-Lab B66 with two Omega lenses from ebay. During the waiting period I did some web searches on the provided lenses and found almost universal derision about them. So, I spotted a Durst Neonon 50mm 2.8 lens on the bay and bought it for $15. However, I wasn't clever enough to ask the seller whether it was a 39mm thread, so readily adaptable to my new enlarger. Any of you out there know whether I will luck out---or did I buy the wrong thing?

The seller doesn't know.
Here is a picture from the auction.
Thanks for your attention.

+1 on excellent lens. I seem to recall that the Durst Neonon was made by Pentax. Perhaps someone can confirm....

I too have the same lens and yes it is good but slightly lower down the scale than a Nikkor. If you stop down to F11 then they are indistinguishable. I too have herd the Pentax manufacturing story but like others cannot confirm it.

I also use this lens, and it is first class, and to the best of my knowledge mine was made for Durst by Pentax, who made several re badged enlarger lenses, including the now long defunct Jessop's own brand 6 element enlarging lens, which is exactly the same as the durst lens, just re badged, but sold for around £40 to n£50 pounds, a real bargain
