I'm in need of an Enlarger so that I can begin printing my 6x6 negs (I'm scanning 35mm and printing digitally, but I don't have a MF scanner, so an enlarger it is). I've come across a good deal on a Durst M600 in working shape, with most everything I need. However the Durst is missing the Lensboard (Everything else, including a lens, is there).

I've done some googling, and am unable to determine what lensboard I need. I'll be using it with both 75mm and 50mm lenses, but initially only a 75mm.

Could somebody tell me which board I need? And hopefully point me towards a source on a cheap example thereof?

That one may require a lot of searching to find. If I remember correctly, the M600 used a round lensboard, flat (I think), with a beveled edge. If you had the dimemsion, you might be able to build one from some 1/8 in sheet stock.

hi mawz

i have a m601, and it has a round & recessed - board. i've never come across another durst board, but you might contact a place like pittsburgh camera exchange ( http://www.pghcamex.com ) midwest camera exchange ( Dead Link Removed ) or columbus camera group ( http://www.columbuscameragroup.com ) ... they might not have one ( or maybe they do?) but just the same they might have better "lead" ...

good luck!

john

ps. i use my 601 for 35mm and 6x6, and just use the same board 4 both lenses...

Sixpla. Of course you know of that-famous-auction-site...
