Durst M300/301

It seems like current prices are all over the place. Not long ago, enlargers were being given away (except for Focomat). What is a reasonable price to pay for a complete M300 or 301 in excellent condition?

My guess is that he'd gladly take $30 for it all (if still available). But a long way from Oregon.

Very little demand for 35mm only enlargers (other than the Focomat). I only know of one person who wants one and he's in Oregon. I'd say $20-50 depending on condition and how long you want to wait.

That's more in line with what I have been thinking. I made a $25 offer on a 300, but the owner is way off the current market. I'm OK with waiting. Thanks for your input.

You can try running a "Want to Buy" on Craigslist. Sometimes that works.

I would really like to see your part of the country, but my truck gets about 8 mpg and we sold our sailboat several years ago.

Wow, sailing to Nova Scotia would really be extreme.

I'd say 25 is more than reasonable. A couple of weeks ago at the PHSNE auction, a Focomat (one of the older bulbous ones) didn't sell for even that much.
I might have bought it just for the lens, but I already have a couple of enlargers too many.

A long trip for a freebie. But, we sailed from the northern tip of Vancouver Isl, BC to Mexico for a margarita (or 3).
