Hello jd, I am helping a new photography teacher get up to speed with the Durst L 1200 enlargers and I am looking for a owners manual. I see in the post that you have one. I just joined apug, would you be willing to email me one? I hope so, many many thanks from myself, the professor, and all future students who will be using this most excellent enlarger.

Marco. Sending a PM now. Nice website. Morning coffee is intriguing me for reasons I cannot determine. Maybe because it's 7 a.m...

All the best,
Leo

Hi.
Just subscribed, and would find a copy of Durst 1200 Laborator Manual invaluable. It really is a monster!
I mainly work with medium format bw film, but am hoping to try some 5x4 this year.

Dear Durst-lovers !
As mentioned earlier Jensen Optical / Durst Pro USA is a main source for spareparts and accessories for the big Dursts and even complete enlargers. There is also a German Company, Kienzle Phototechnik , that can supply you with parts for some of the big Durst models and they also manufacture their own enlargers. Kienzle have more parts than are listed on their web-site, so send them a mail if you want to know more. I enclose links to both companies.

Durst laborator 1200 manual

Hello Durst enthousiasts,

Although I am not new on this forum (I've learnt a lot from you all), it is my first post.
After a lot of research in the past months, for a good enlarger, I had the good fortune to buy a L1200 today, with all the trimmings, for peanuts.
But alas, as so may of you without the user's manual.

I have noticed that a lot of members do have it in Pdf format, so I would like to ask if somebody would share a copy with me and send one to me.

I would be very grateful!
Thanks in advance!

If anyone needs the manual, this is a pdf copy a kind someone here gave to me. If anyone wants it, he/she can get it by going to my iDisk public folder below:

URL: https://public.me.com/mansuramir
Password: 180503

and download the file 'durstmanual.pdf'

Dear Apug members,

I'm new to this forum and first of all I would like to introduce me briefly.

I'm an amateur photographer who lives in Madrid, Spain. I mostly shoot medium format using a TLR Rolleiflex. Mi main interest are landscapes and domestic animals (dogs and cats), not very strange considering that professionally I'm a vet.

Recently, I bought a second hand Durst Laborator 1200 with B&W head (condersers). I wrote to Durst Italy requesting a copy of the user's manual but they didn't reply me at all. So, I'm quite lost with several things about this great enlarger.

I saw in a post from an Apug member (I beleive he or she was "nomoreroger") a year ago or so that he/she had a manual for the Durst Laborator 1200 for free.

I wrote "nomoreroger" as well, but again I didn't have a reply.

So, now my last chance are one of yours. Have any of you a copy of this manual? In such a case, Would be possible for you to send me a pdf copy of the manual?

If any of you were so kind, I would be eternally grateful!!

I think that's all. Thank you very much in advance and I'm very happy to find this great group devoted to traditional photography. Congratulations to all!!!!

Best wishes,

Pablo.
I have the manual in printed form and could scan it to make a pdf of it, but why on earth would I spend the time? What will you do for me in return?
