Hey fellow photo enthusiasts,

I'm not sure I'm in the right group discussion, so if not, let me know. I have a Durst Laborator 1200 with the condenser head. It came with a burnt out light bulb and I'm having problems finding a replacement or even knowing what to get. Does anyone have any ideas of what I need or where to go for it?

In the operating manual it says I need a 150 watt opal lamp, or 250 watt for short periods. When I try to research it, it comes up with a plug in light bulb, but the kind I have screws in like a normal bulb.

Any info would help.

Thanks,
Nick

Midwest Photo is very near you, they have the 75W opal lamp for 5 bucks. That should work fine to make some prints smaller than 11x14 with the condenser head. I suspect they could order the more expensive 150W lamp too, if your printing times are too long.

I use both 75 and 150 on my Durst. 75 is good if your negative is on the thin side and 150 good for a dense neg.
Enlarger bulbs don't have writing on the bulb and a designed for an even glow.

Google for an E 27, 150 W bulb
