I have Durst Labometer and would like to use it with Durst Laborator 1200 enlarger + color head for color printing.
Unfortunately I miss reference negative and diffusor sheet. I have instruction manual.
May be someone have this missing items for sale or can advice me on how to substitute difusor sheet and reference negative..
I wonder if I can make my own image made on Kodak Gold 100 negative instead of original reference negative, because color corection adjustments and test print shoud be done anyway as part of calibration?
How can I substitute difusor sheet that is use during calibration as well?
I will appreciate any advices.

Did you manage to solve this? I too have one of these and will start using it next week. I too don’t have a “diffuser” but maybe I can use a piece of translucent plastic from another diffusion chamber?? I don’t see this in the instructions so it’s not entirely clear what this is. Prob can use it but will need to calibrate. I might go to camera shop and get a more accurate diffuser…..

I am tracking a Labometer for purchase and will provide any useful information back here if found. Would either of you be able to share a copy of the instruction manual? Secondly, does it also function as a standard timer without analyzer function in 1/10ths of a second at all all times? Thank you.

Yes it’s a good timer. What I’ve found is it’s density calculation is fairly accurate. Colour is harder and I’m not sure how accurate it is without the out of the box diffuser. I need to test more. I’m currently calibrating it so we’ll see. Regardless it’s very useful. Just need to get your head around calibration
