In a nutshell, yes.

It's not clear exactly what comes with it, but hoover up any Femoboxes that are with it (I can see two in the picture, one on the easel, one in the enlarger) - they are the diffuser boxes for different size negatives. Also see if there are any negative carrier inserts for the different sizes, You can still get spare ones but they tend to cost a bit. You will need a small van or hatch-back with removable rear seats to move it (and two people to lift it).

Have fun, Bob.

Make sure you have a manual for the controller and see if there is a 6x9 target neg. I am somewhat familiar with a similar Durst AC 4x5 enlarger (all blue auto focus) the setup was not intuitive and the target neg was required.

From where I sit you got a great deal on a world class enlarger.

Picked up this enlarger today - a lot bigger than I was expecting! infact I was pretty amazed how large it was - a monster!!

Just managed to squeeze it into the vehicle I had, including the roll easel and base board etc.

Once I have installed it in the darkroom I will update with how it works.

Thankfully I do have an original manual with it!

Matt

This is a world class enlarger, depending upon the price , I would say this is a steal. With the roll easel new purchase price for both over 20K .

good luck you will have a bit of a learning curve with the all auto aspect. I am sure the seller will help you out if problems occur.
As well you can go to google Durst and speak to a representative on parts and manuals.

Thanks Bob.

The price was £104 GBP which I woudl say equates to around $180 US at present.

It was all fired up when I went to pick it up, and should be in good working order.

Certainly looks complicated though! Looking forward to the learning curve!

You got a good buy if you make use of it. You did not choose the best time to ask though. Enjoy.

Hello Matt, do you still keep the instruction manual of Drust AC 1201 darkroom amplifier? Can you give me a PDF copy or a picture if it is still saved? This is very important to me, because I just bought a machine, thank you very much.

I'll be interested to hear how you get on with the AC1201.

I have one too but it's faulty......either the PSU or the controller.......such a shame as it's a beautiful machine.
