I have a Durst 606 that someone gave me a long time ago and I went to clean it up today, so I can give it to someone that needs an enlarger. I plugged it in to test the lamp and it failed to light.
  1. So I plugged in my enlarger in that socket and mine works. WALL SOCKET GOOD
  2. Tried the inline cord switch several times.
  3. Removed the bulb and tried another bulb - nothing.
  4. Tested the original bulb in a light socket it works.
  5. The cord looks to be fine.
Does anyone know if there is a fuse on these somewhere? Any suggestions of things to look for? Going back to the studio with a continuity tester and see if that helps.

Maybe the switch contacts are bad, so although it clicks it connects no electricity to the bulb housing.
With access to a multimeter (Ohmmeter) it would be easy to diagnose.

It was the contacts, I UNPLUGGED it and cleaned the socket contacts. They were heavily oxidized. Thanks for the suggestions!
