I am about to start printing with a 184.
The condensers (2 x380) in what sense I must insert them, I use a lens 300 mm.
What is possible to print a 8 x10" in 50x60 cm format must print in knee with the head of the enlarger everything up (the distance between lens and it is flat of about 1,10 mt)?
Excuse of my English but not he speak correctly.

Hi Stefano,

For the 300mm lens, you need the two 380 condensers, placed convex side to convex side. For the 2.4x enlargement, you do need quite a distance from neg to baseboard. The Durst L184 allows the head to tilt 90 degrees for wall projection, for big enlargements.

You should review the Jens Jensen site www.jensen-optical.us and view the lilbrary section for more info on the L184.

Good luck!
