I'm not sure what you mean. All silver halide in gelatin is dry. And, I do cover plate coating and describe 2 methods of plate coating. Is that what you wanted to know?

Mark Osterman has a very fine lantern slide formula for both in-camera and duping purposes. I have included that into the book with Mark's gracious permission. I have also included photos of his plate pouring method. Also included are scans of his original negative dry plate and the resulting lantern slide.

The Formulary is now selling both 4x5 and 8x10 glass for this, and I am told that they will custom cut glass for suitably large orders.

Something I have never done in my photo career - make emulsion. Wanted to give it a go for my own personal.

That would be ideal, to take an accompanying workshop. Just couldn't get away to Rochester this time of year.
