Does anyone out there, at least on the West Coast or Mid West, remember a place call Drucker's Lens Warehouse or maybe Drucker's Lens Repository? Upon request he would send out a list of lenses in his inventory. Usually older Large Format stuff. And very reasonable. I bought 1 or 2 from him back around 1990. I was just wondering if he was still in buisness. I think he was in Michigan or Illinois.

I think Jim Galli must have gobbled up that inventory and has made gazillions on ebay by posting those images he shot through a pop bottle of pee-pee that he claims were taken using those obscure vintage petzvals and SF lenses!! Good work Jim!!!
I'm just jealous!!

Drucker's Lens Bank was the rescued remains of the old Burke and James Co., long gone.

The web has some histories, ... have a Google.

Drucker's Lens Warehouse was still active February 1992. That was the last price list under that specific name. The very last price list dated June of 1997 was under the name Joseph Drufke. Same address in Midlothian Illinois. I made a notation on the list "going out of business as of 2001."

The 1989 price list had the largest variety of vintage lenses I've yet run across. Of particular interest to Goerz fans was a section under the heading: C.P. Goerz (Berlin - U.S.A). Dagor lenses were listed in barrel or in shutters in a variety of focal lengths from 4 3/4 inches to 19 inches. Prices ranged from $224.00 for the shorter focal lengths to $839.00 for the 19 inch Dagors.

I never bought any lenses from Drucker's so I can't verify the quality. But I've kept the prices lists for reference and I wish they were still in business.
