It's stuck at infinity focus.

Glass is fine, the Hoya HD did it's job, but it's stuck at infinity and I can't for the life of me get it off.

I feel your pain, did the same here a while back, lens was fine but totalled the AE prism. That was not a happy day...

honestly that's what I use this lens for, is landscape. The 150 does everything else.

maybe that's what I'll do with it, repair shop will probably charge more than it's worth

or maybe I'll just fix it myself, wouldn't be the first time I did

It's a fine piece of glass, sharp at all apertures, background rendering is fantastic.

I only wished my 35mm glass looked this nice for 150 dollars.

I've got it rigged for some infinite focus action for the flyover of the Shuttle on Tuesday which is all I need really.....after that I'll send it off for repair......who knows of a good repair shop that won't charge me the value of the lens to fix it?

I really need to stop dropping shit.
