I've been talking with a Moira who is involved in a South American project called ph15 which teaches photography to poor and disadvantaged youth. Some of the children's stuff has appeared in online forums. I'm wondering if anyone would have any old cameras that you'd be willing to donate? Old point-and-shoots would be fine I guess. I'll pay for shipping to me. I'm then supposed to give them to someone who is traveling down in June or July. I can get you more information if you are interested. Please let me know and I can post some more. It sounds like a great program.
Aggie, a great APUGer, has already chipped in for help and I have received some great stuff including film, an old Canon EOS 650 and point-and-shoots. Anything would be good, even if you don't think it is worthy.
