After a lot of testing, I concluded that the trick to doing low agitation/high dilution development like (semi)stand and Extreme Minimal Development without bromide drag was partially about how the film was suspended and partly about keeping it off the bottom of the tank.
I've been doing this fine with open 1/2 gal Kodak rubber tanks, but wanted to see if there was a way to use conventional tanks for daylight development.
