does the F801 TTL flash work with center-weighted metering mode?

I have an F801 (same as F8001 I think) and I just realized that I shot a bunch of shots with my SB-28 set to "TTL" mode, but the metering was set to center-weighed mode and not matrix mode. Does the TTL system still work with center-weighed metering or are my shots ruined?

F801 = N8008

Just checked the manual and TTL does work with center-weighted metering.
