Can't seem to get confirmation of this anywhere. SL66.com suggests that the lens will just fit the lens mount (or at least it is on the 3rd party lens list). Is that correct, or do I need a mounting conversion.

Appreciate your help!

The lens has to be extensively converted for this. Some of these East-German Zeiss lenses for SL66 can be found on Ebay few times a year, but it is barely worth the trouble. Okay, f2,8 might be nice to have...
My suggestion would be to look for the 120/4 instead. One stop slower, but you might have more luck on finding one, though this is already a very rare lens.

Regards, Benjamin

Thanks Benjamin. I want the shallow DOF (without tilt). Mayge I need a lensboard with a barrel lens?

Thanks for the info.

Even at f/4.0, you'll get very shallow depth of field with any lens longer than 80mm. And the closer your subject to the camera, the shallower the depth of field it will be.

With the commonly available f/4.0 150mm Sonnar, for example, at 3 feet, depth of field is one inch. At five feet, depth of field is three inches. At 10 feet, it's 10 inches.
