Does anybody know what Pentax lens (LATE) means?

On Keh.com website, Pentax 6x7 lens descriptions, It says '105mm F2.4 SMC (67) / LATE'

Does anybody know what LATE means? Does that mean just late serial numbers?

Is all SMC pentax lenses considered as late lenses?

I'm glad you figured it out. I would have assumed that it had passed away. KEH can sometimes use abbreviations on their descriptions that puzzle me, and require a phone call to one of their interpreters. Great folks over there.
