Dodging & Burning In

After purchasing a commercial dodging set, I found the ones that I ended up making out of coat hangers and card stock or thin cardboard just as good if not better. Really nothing to it, almost anything works.

All my dodging tools are made that way never saw the need for any fancy gizmo's.

For burning in I use a large black both side board, I cut various size holes , one hole per board, I then tape white paper on the top and cut out the hole. This way I can see live the area I want to burn, it is black on the bottom side so no reflections bouncing back and forth.
I use my hand a lot for burning in as well.
