A Nikon FM2 is small enough. I'd get a 3 lens kit of 24mm, 50mm and 105mm. Add a few filters and even a shoe mount flash and it will all fit in a small camera bag.

Right now I own 5 cameras. Several above have mentioned above that only owning 1 camera can be a blessing. A lot of truth in that. I used to own only a Contax 139. I knew that camera like the back of my hand.

If you don't mind having the fm2 with you all the time, pass on the point and shoot. I don't know how the contax yashica point and shoot got so popular, but you can get better results for less. A Canon rebel and a 40 is almost as small and dirt cheap. A Zeiss zf 50 costs less than the t2

For 15 years I owned and used a Pentax SP500 and 55/2 Super Takumar exclusively. I had nothing else and so I became extremely familiar with it. Today it remains more intuitive and natural to use than any of my other cameras. I'm not really familiar with the back of my hand though.
