DIY photo equipment repairs are not only carried out in English or German speaking countries, and therefore there are also reports in other languages in the web. Although people naturally stick to the languages they understand (these both languages in my case) when searching for information.
And not everyone who reports on repairs provides a translation into English, which is considered the world language.
I am thinking in particular of our specialist colleagues in Japan, who should have direct access to sources of information when it comes to popular Japanese photo equipment, but also in Europe and other countries.
I wonder how we can access the published work of these colleagues when doing research on the web.
A translation of a Japanese site, for example, is easy to do with Google Translate, which can translate entire sites directly into the desired language if required. But for this to happen, these sites must first be found, which should work with a translation of the search query.
But what about all the other languages?
Is there a metasearch engine for this that translates search queries into other languages and queries them in parallel, or other strategies?
