DIY Minolta md/mc/sr lens to leica L39 screw mount camera

I built a DIY adapter to mount Minolta md slr lenses on Leica L39 bodies. Full instructions here.

Novoflex made these as well. Very well made -- but you have to be careful because they also made a Leica lens-to-Minolta camera adapter -- easily confused. One is marked "LEI-MIN", the other "MIN-LEI".

I also have an unbranded model that is good enough.

They can be used to attach Minolta lenses to things other than Leica-mount cameras, too.

My challenge was that I couldn't get hold of any commercially made adapters new or secondhand. I am generally pleased with my results from my DIY adapter.
