This may not be the right forum for this question. so if the moderators want to move it to the appropriate forum, please do. A friend of mine is trying to remember a formula for a solution to dip incandescent bulbs into to make your own darkroom safelight. The only things he can remember is that it was a kodak formula and it used vermillion red as on of the ingredients.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Hello DarkroomExperimente: this is exactly what I was looking for. My friend will be disappointed though because these formulas will only work with older less sensitive materials but I will pass them along.

don't see the point.You can get these lights very cheaply these days. Why go through the trouble?
