Hi all,

I’m looking for suggestions for how to fashion a clip to connect a waist strap to the lugs on a Lubitel. I tried a key ring but the holes are quite small and the curve of the ring too great. I guess I need something either rigid and straight or some sort of strong flexible material I can loop through the holes. Does anyone have a tried and trusted solution?

I haven't tried it (don't have a Lubitel) but if you can get a sample of the cord used to fly stunt kites or especially the larger soft kites, it should be flexible enough, but still strong enough and last a long time before the sheath wears through. It's like paracord, only smaller diameter; some varieties (the ones you'll want to look for) have aramid (aka Kevlar) sheathes.
