Divided Pyrocat-HD rotary processing

I want to extend my Divided Pyrocat-HD development to rotary processing in Paterson tanks on a Unicolor base, but the last two times I tried this I got some streaking on a few negatives. After emailing Sandy King he said (in reference to stainless reels) "I always remove the lid and pour the developer into the tank. Adding it through the fill cap would almost certainly cause uneven development."

Is anyone using Divided Pyrocat-HD this way with consistent results? Can you provide some feedback? I'd eventually like to be able to run three and five rolls batches.
