Sorry, don't know how to explain it better than that. Fact is, there are a lot of mean-spirited a-holes on this site.

At the end of the day, I've got ~11k followers on Flickr, with >2.5M views of my photos. None of which were due to APUG (then Photrio), so I don't mind not sharing any of my photography here anymore.

No worries. Live and learn. I'm still a "paid" subscriber here, but I've come to realize that Photrio is not a place to showcase one's photography.
