Adorama @ $24.99 currently, and accepting backorders.

It was $8.99 or so before the discontinuation announcement, earlier this year.

For all of you still waiting for your back-orders to be filled, we are expecting a shipment from Fuji sometime in July.

We unfortunately cannot accept new orders at the moment due to existing orders having priority. If (and that's a big if) we end up getting more units than are currently back-ordered, we will obviously be accepting new orders at that time.

Please feel free to contact me if I can be of help in any way.
Thanks. Happy to see you here.

This is all I managed to get while prices were still below $20, before the announcement.

At current prices, I may buy only a few boxes per year.

New55 wants to run a kickstarter campaign to produce 4x5 colour peel apart...but only if they get positive feedback from New55 b/w supporters. I don't shoot colour, but definitely would support the campaign.

You won't buy any "per year" after a bit if existing stock keeps selling at this rate.

FP-3000b is still available but at even more outrageous prices.

4x5 would be great but if I can have only one size I'd much prefer the 3.25x4.25. It works well in 4x5 cameras with the right back and some dry erase frame marks on the ground glass, plus all the Polaroid cameras that were made for it over the years plus all the medium format backs for it.

Still I think the real sticking point is likely to be price. At the current goug...er, market close out prices I find the Fuji pretty prohibitive myself, though I might still buy a small amount if it were still made at these prices. I'm very glad New55 is around and seems to be doing well but I find the B&W prices just prohibitive for myself. I can't imagine that color (or colour  ) will be any less even if the negative isn't made to be easily recovered.

Anyone here buying it at over $30 per box? I was hoping a lot of people would balk at the price and overall demand would go down enough to cause the price to drop below $30.

I received my four packs of FP100C on Tuesday (would likely have received it Monday if that particular Monday weren't a holiday here (USA).

"I can't imagine that color (or colour  )"

Sorry. I write in real English...:D

Well I don't write in imaginary English, but most often in American English. However, I do read enough British authors that sometimes the British spellings emerge from my typing fingers automagically as well.

I got 10 boxes from Adorama a couple weeks ago @ 24.99/box, FWIW.

heh heh... a colleague of mine from LA has been up here now for at least 30 years. He's starting to talk like a Canadian and even write like one, AND goes to hockey games. Still working on him to say, EH, though. :D

One thing that people are curious about is are they referring to a collaboration with each other.

Arrived today. Two of the boxes are partially crushed. I wonder if it matters.

It might. Can you post a photo?

Hardly alarming but I don't like that I can easily press into the pack.

Still, if the packs are damaged that's $60. Is it from B&H? I'd be tempted to give them a call to see if they'd replace it.

Unfortunately, you can't tell if the film developing pod has been damaged until you use it.

Speaking/writing personally based on past experience... That wouldn't thrill me but wouldn't worry me either. I'd open and use without further thought if there is no damage to the pack itself. The pods are quite protected in the pack. I always preferred the more robust packaging of Polaroid sheet film... God rest their soul.

for what it's worth a while back I bought the last fp-3000b packs from adorama and some not only didn't even come in boxes (just the foil packs), at least one was permanently deformed to the point where I had to bend it straight to get the back of my automatic 250 closed.
And it worked fine.

Adorama and B&H seem to have FP100c back in stock at the moment. 10 box limit (per order?) from BH, 30 box limit (per order?) from Adorama. $33 @ BH, $29.99 @ Adorama. (Both are being a couple of egregious profiteering scumbags on this, of course.) But at least it's out there. Likely the best option for instant film we will see for at least the next 10+ years IMNSHO.
