Hello all!

I have been asked several times during my Astrum purchases if it was possible to get direct positive film in other formats larger than 35mm, and unfortunately I could not.

However, someone recently told me about a few rolls of large format 2422 areal duplication film, which I would be able to cut down into sheet film sizes. As with Mikrat Ortho, it is a direct positive film, requiring no bleaching or re-exposure to get a positive image. It is also extremely slow, 0.8-1 ISO according to the little information available online.

I have bought 2 250 ft rolls of this film and it is currently being shipped to me, ETA is next week. I will be cutting sheets and short 120 rolls in my free time between classes.

Pricing:
120 (1/3 length)*: $6
2x3: $20
3x4: $25
4x5: $30
5x7: $50
8x10: $100

120 sold individually, sheets sold in packs of 25. As always, custom sizes are doable if size allows (max size 14x9.5” 35.5x24cm, min size 1.8x1.8” 4.6x4.6cm)

*120 is only around 1/3 the length of a normal roll due to the size of my sheet cutter, and the fact I cannot slit 61.5mm pancakes from anything larger than 70mm currently,

Shipping $10 within the US. Payment via PayPal F&F.

Have you tested the 120 short rolls? I would imagine they would tend to unravel during loading/unloading (aka the "fat roll") due to the smaller OD. I suppose this can be compensated with a longer backing paper.

I have tested a short roll of Aviphot in my RB67, and it works well. The outer diameter is similar to the 1/2 length 120 rolls Kodak made for the Asian market. Most cameras with a reasonably strong roll holder spring should do fine with it.

Ooo this is cool and not at all something I need. Therefore I’m in! lol

Any chance you can do 127 size? I have spools and backing paper I could send if you need them.

Honestly I hadn’t even thought to check that, but yes it looks like I can cut 46mm film, that’s actually the minimum size I can cut funny enough. Feel free to message and we can work out the details
